On behalf of the International Steering Committee and Local Organizing Committee, we invite you to the IEEE Region 8 Conference EuroCon 2013 in Zagreb, Croatia. The EuroCon history goes back to 1971 and Lausanne, Switzerland where the first conference was organized. The tradition of gathering experts from all electro-technical areas, Electrical, Electronics and Information Technology, was renewed in 2001 and this is already the 7th edition. EuroCon 2013 conference will be held at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb. Distinguished keynote speakers, special sessions and parallel paper and poster sessions will cover a variety of topics focusing on the latest research. The Conference will be held from Monday July 1st 2013 to Thursday July 4th 2013. For more information on important dates and topics you can send us an e-mail to info@eurocon2013.org. We are also preparing an interesting networking and social program including Welcome and Closing reception, Gala dinner and several optional cultural and sightseeing tours. Zagreb is well known for its hospitality, rich cultural life, numerous museums, theatres, concert halls and art galleries. We will do our best to provide you a memorable time in Croatia.
